What we collect, why we collect it, who else processes it, and what you can ask us to do about it. Written from what the system actually stores.
Effective 16 September 2026.
1.Who we are
Delta Kinetics LLC operates Official Business Doctor at officialbusinessdoctor.com and is responsible for the personal information described here. We sell into the United States and Canada, and the site is not directed at people in the European Union or the United Kingdom.

Privacy questions and requests: support@officialbusinessdoctor.com.
2.What we collect and why
When you sign in, we associate tab-scoped first and latest campaign context with your account. We store your chosen ownership stage and preferences, verified Discord connection and join status, and resource, orientation and offer activity to guide your next step. Campaign context is self-reported and does not prove a purchase. Activity records are retained for up to 180 days and are removed when the corresponding member record is deleted. Financial records follow the separate retention rules below. We do not copy Discord message bodies into this reporting.
When you request an ownership resource, we store your email, optional first name, resource and pillar identifiers, resource version, consent choice and version, first-touch campaign attribution, request history and email delivery status. We use these records to deliver the requested resource, avoid duplicate sends and, only with separate consent, send the relevant follow-up lessons. A resource request does not create an account or enroll you in a course.
Worksheet answers and process inventory details remain in your browser session. We do not transmit them to our database, email provider, analytics or marketing system. Session storage may be cleared when you close the browser. Resource selection and download events can include the pillar and resource identifier, but never your email or worksheet answers.
Most of this you give us directly. You can browse the site and run the free calculators without an account, and without telling us who you are.
| What | Specifically | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Account | Email address, name if you give one, the state you tell us you are in, where you said you were in the buying process, and what kind of business interests you. | To create and hold your account, decide what you have access to, and set sensible defaults in the calculators. |
| How you found us | The tool or page you signed up from, and campaign tags carried in the link you arrived on. | To understand which work brings people in. Recorded at first contact and not overwritten. |
| Consent | Whether you agreed to marketing email, when you agreed, and whether a newsletter subscription actually took effect. | Creating an account is not consent to be marketed to. The two are recorded separately so we can prove which you gave. |
| What you save in the tools | Deals you save: the name you give them, an asking price, and the figures you enter about a business you are looking at. | So you can return to a deal and correct it. These are your working notes and are visible only to your account. |
| Tool usage | Which calculator was run, at what access level, and a summary of the run: a size band rather than your figures, and which warnings fired. | To see which tools work. Deliberately a summary: your actual numbers are not copied into our analytics. |
| Purchases | What you bought, the amount, currency, tax collected, refunds, instalment progress, and identifiers from our payment processor. | To deliver what you paid for, keep access correct, and meet tax and accounting obligations. |
| Questions you send us | A question you ask in the tools or by email, and the address you asked it from. | To answer you. |
| Bookings | Booking details for any call you schedule, and reminders we sent about it. | To hold the appointment and remind you of it. |
| Technical | Standard server and analytics data: pages viewed, approximate location derived from network address, device and browser type. | To keep the site working, prevent abuse, and understand traffic. |
3.Two things worth being specific about
Your deal figures are not copied into our analytics
When you run a calculator we record which tool ran, at what access level, and a summary: a band describing the size of what you modelled, and which warnings the calculation produced. We do not copy the figures you entered into that record.
We keep a note that somebody modelled a mid-six-figure deal that failed its coverage test. We do not keep a stranger’s financial file in an analytics table.
Deals you deliberately save are different: those are your working notes, they contain the figures you entered, and they are stored against your account so you can come back to them. The database restricts them to your account, and you can delete any of them at any time.
Creating an account is not consent to be marketed to
We store whether you agreed to marketing email, and when, separately from the fact that you created an account. If you did not tick the box, you get the email you asked for and the things you need to know about your purchases, and nothing else.
4.What we do not collect
- Card numbers. Payments go to Whop or, for Everything and retained historical purchases, Stripe. The payment provider collects your card details directly. We receive a confirmation, an amount and provider identifiers. We never see or store a card number.
- Social Security numbers or employee records. The payroll calculators are built to model roles and wages, not real named employees, and nothing in them asks for an SSN. Do not enter one.
- Sensitive categories. We do not ask for health, biometric, precise geolocation, racial or ethnic origin, religious belief, or similar information, and we have no use for it.
- Passwords. Sign-in is by emailed link, so there is no password to store or to lose.
5.Who else processes it
We use the following companies to run the service. They process personal information on our instructions, for the purposes below, and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
| Company | What it does for us |
|---|---|
| Supabase | Database and sign-in. Holds your account, saved deals and purchase record. |
| Stripe | The retained payment processor for Everything and historical purchases. Stripe collects card details directly; we never receive or store a card number. |
| Whop | Payments, subscriptions, checkout, tax calculation and payment receipts for eligible new purchases, plus first-party page and purchase attribution through the Whop Pixel. Whop collects payment details directly; we receive transaction status and provider identifiers. |
| Resend | Sending email, and the mailing list if you subscribed to one. |
| Mautic | Our self-hosted marketing system for consented follow-up lessons and subscription preferences. Worksheet answers are not sent to it. |
| Vercel | Hosting the website, plus privacy-focused traffic analytics. |
| Google Analytics | Traffic measurement, where enabled. |
| Upstash | Short-lived storage for checkout links and rate limiting. |
| Cal.com | Scheduling, if you book a call. |
| LearnHouse | The course platform at learn.officialbusinessdoctor.com, where purchased courses are delivered. |
| Discord | Member community access when you choose to connect a Discord account. We store the provider account identifier needed to manage access. |
If you join a community, a course discussion or a live session hosted on a third-party platform, that platform collects information under its own policy and you should read it.
6.We do not sell your personal information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, as those terms are used in California law.
We disclose personal information only:
- To the service providers listed above, so the service can work.
- When you tell us to, such as asking to be introduced to somebody. That is always your choice and never automatic.
- When the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim, or to prevent fraud or harm.
- To a buyer or successor if the business is sold or reorganised. You would be told before your information became subject to a different policy.
8.Email
You get two kinds of email from us, and they are governed differently. Transactional email about your account, your purchases and your bookings is part of the service and you cannot unsubscribe from it while you hold an account or an active purchase. Marketing email only goes to people who agreed to it, and every one carries a working unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing takes effect immediately and does not affect anything you have bought.
9.How long we keep it
- Account and saved deals: while your account is open, and deleted when you close it.
- Purchase and tax records: at least seven years after the transaction, because tax and accounting law requires it. This survives account deletion, and it is the one category we cannot delete on request.
- Marketing contacts: until you unsubscribe, plus a suppression record so we do not email you again by accident.
- Tool usage summaries: retained in aggregate. Where a summary is linked to an account, that link is removed when the account is deleted.
- Questions you send us: up to two years, then deleted.
10.Your rights
California residents have specific rights under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA. We extend the same rights to everyone we deal with, wherever you are, because operating two standards is how the lower one becomes the real one.
- Know. Ask what we hold about you, where it came from, why we have it and who we disclosed it to.
- Get a copy. Receive your information in a portable format.
- Correct. Have inaccurate information fixed. Most of it you can edit yourself in your account.
- Delete. Have it deleted, except records we are legally required to keep, which is essentially the purchase and tax record described above.
- Opt out. Of any sale or sharing. We do neither, so there is nothing to opt out of, and the right stands anyway.
- Not be retaliated against. Exercising any of this will never cost you access, price or service.
Email support@officialbusinessdoctor.com from the address on the account. We will confirm it is you, answer within 45 days, and tell you if we need a further 45, which the law allows. There is no charge. An authorised agent may act for you with written permission we can verify.
11.Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest by our infrastructure providers. Access to member data is restricted at the database level so that one account cannot read another’s records, rather than relying on the application to remember to filter. Administrative access is limited to people who need it.
No system is perfectly secure, and anybody who tells you otherwise is selling something. If a breach affects your information we will tell you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.
12.Children
This site is for adults doing business. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.
13.Changes
We will update this policy when what we do changes. The effective date at the top says when the current version took effect. If a change materially affects how we use information you have already given us, we will tell you by email before it takes effect.

Results vary. Nothing here is financial, legal, or tax advice.
