The Deal Room
One room. Four stages of ownership.
Buyers, owners, operators and sellers share one community. Bring the decision in front of you. The weekly live deal review remains a listing-focused session; the room connects that work to the responsibilities, systems and exit questions that follow.
What is The Deal Room?
The Deal Room is one community for the 4 stages of ownership: Buy, Own, Run and Sell. The weekly live deal review remains a listing-focused session, alongside the room and its recordings. Membership is billed monthly or yearly under the current published terms; courses are sold separately.

What a member gets
The weekly deal review, live
Bring a listing. It gets read line by line, in front of everyone, by someone who has bought two businesses and sold one. The recording goes up within a day if you cannot make it.
The room
One community with four member identities: Buy, Own, Run and Sell. Identify your stage so a question about the owner's role is understood in its context, and a listing review stays a listing review.
The monthly deal file
One real file opened in full: the packet, the numbers, what was asked for in diligence, and what the answer changed.
Depth on the calculators
Unlimited saved deals, scenarios side by side, and the industry benchmark bands, across all ten tools.
Twenty percent off every course
Members pay less for anything in the catalog, for as long as they are members.
What it is not
- The courses. Those are sold separately, and membership does not quietly include them.
- A promise that you will buy a business. Plenty of people look for a year and correctly walk away from everything they see.
- Daily access to Matty. It is one live call a week and a room, not a private line.
- A content library. If what you want is a folder of videos, this is the wrong purchase.
Who the room is for
Bring a current ownership question: entering a business, taking responsibility, making work repeatable or preparing a transfer. The four identities make the context clear.
If you are exploring for now, begin with the free guide and resource for your stage. Membership is optional, and the weekly live call is specifically a deal review.
The room is education and discussion. It does not replace a qualified adviser, a management team or your own decision about a transaction.
Four rules, reviewed on your first call
- What is posted in the room stays in the room. Real numbers only work if they are safe here.
- Bring the listing, not the summary. A deal cannot be read from a description of it.
- Answer at least as often as you ask. The Monday thread only works if members answer it.
- Nobody sells anything to anybody. No pitching members, ever, including by direct message.
Instead of this, people usually
Ask the broker
The broker is paid by the seller. That is not dishonesty, it is arithmetic.
Ask a forum
Free, fast, and answered by people who have not bought anything either.
Hire an advisor by the hour
Genuinely useful and genuinely expensive, and they see your listing for the first time when you send it.
There is more free material on buying a business than anyone can finish, and none of it has read your CIM.
The room is not better than an advisor. It is four hours a month of the same kind of attention for less than one of those hours, with the recordings kept.
What it costs
Used for your receipt and your access to the room.
- $39 a month.
- Cancel any time from your account page. Access runs to the end of the period you paid for.
- $390 a year.
- Ten months for twelve. Full refund before you open any of it, and after that the purchase is final.
Payment is handled by Whop. Your card details never reach this site. Already a member? Manage it from your account.
An hour with someone who has closed an acquisition costs a few hundred dollars, and they see your listing for the first time when you send it. This is four hours a month, in a room, with the recordings kept.
Questions
What does it cost?
Thirty nine dollars a month, or three hundred and ninety a year, which is ten months for twelve. Founding members pay twenty nine a month for as long as they stay subscribed, while the founding window is open.
How is this different from the courses?
The courses are the executables: the worksheets, the demand lists, the models. The Deal Room is the live work and the people. A course teaches you to read a deal. The room is where you bring one and find out what you missed.
How is it different from the Blueprint?
The Blueprint is every course, every calculator and the room, opened for twelve months at one price. The Deal Room on its own is the weekly call and the room, at thirty nine dollars a month. Different commitments entirely.
Can I cancel?
Any time, from your account page, and access runs to the end of the period you paid for. If you are not turning up to the call, I would rather you cancelled than kept paying out of habit.
What happens on the call if I do not have a deal yet?
You watch someone else's get read, which is most of the value. Nobody is required to bring anything.
Do I get the recordings if I cancel?
No. The archive is part of membership and access ends with it. What you keep is anything you downloaded and anything you bought separately.
Results vary. Nothing here is financial, legal, or tax advice.
